Paul started his career in Major Infrastructure in 1980, when he took his first position with British Railways Board. After 8 years, he moved into Private Practice, working with Reynolds & Young in London on major property developments. Following this, he took a senior role in a Construction Company working mainly in transportation infrastructure in metro's, before relocating to Devon and returning to railways. He moved to Siemens after this for a major telecommunication programme and on completion of the Contract joined Mott MacDonald, where he became involved in global capital projects as a Program Director and Construction Director. Alongside managing projects, he headed two businesses in rail transportation and in power & utilities. In 2009 he relocated to Boston, MA, USA, where he managed to US power division. He returned to the UK in 2013 and moved to Babcock International, working as Director of Infrastructure (Rail), based in Glasgow. In 2015 he started Bittaford Consulting Limited and has worked on several programmes and special projects within the rail industry, including a Delivery Assurance program for Network Rail South East and latterly as Head of Program Controls in the Doha Metro project in Qatar. He then moved to Canada as a Subject Matter Expert for a year, before returning to UK. Paul is also President of Bittaford Consulting Inc, in Canada.
After a career in retail, working in childrens shoes and women's clothing as well as in catering, Debbie took up the reins of Bittaford Consulting Ltd as Finance Director. She is also Company Secretary for Bittaford Consulting Inc, in Canada.
A Graduate of University of West London with a First in Construction Management, Andrew has been working extensively in transportation, operating in both Highways and rail. He commenced his career working for a Devon (UK) based vehicle dealership in 2004, before moving to work for a major rail Contractor in 2007, working in track renewals. He moved internally to Highways maintenance and in 2009 took a role as a Commercial Manager in a company specializing in building protection systems and nano technology. In 2012 he embarked on a full time Degree course and re-entered the workplace every summer, working in major rail projects, in particular the Thameslink program in London. After graduation, he returned to full time work with Babcock International, where he worked as Project Manager in their ABC Electrification Alliance, helping to successfully deliver the Bromsgrove 25kV electrification program. He then relocated to UK Highways Agency to deliver a major improvement scheme in Worthing, a busy stretch of the A27 in Sussex.
